  • Shy Star

Ms. Shy spent 2 months at our city shelter waiting for her family to come. Her original owner got sick and was unable to pick her up. The shelter did everything it could to reconnect them, but it wasn't in the cards.

So, we busted her out thanks to an incredible foster, we are working on putting some more weight on her, and learning about how she is in a home.

Here's what we know so far:

Small critters better watch out, she's looking at you, Mr./Ms. Groundhog.

She loves to bask in the sun.

Has had plenty of male doggie playmates(meet and greet required).

    Does well in the car.

Loves snoozing on cozy rugs and blankets.

Shy Star greets each day with a smile and a stretch! She is a champion sleeper and doesn’t wake you up until you are ready.

She loves walks but spends a lot of energy looking for bunnies or cats in the bushes and down driveways.

She’s working on her leash manners.

She is quite the foodie as well, tasting new vegetables with curiosity and gusto!

She is cautious with men but just a little nervous until she can get used to them.

She is a wigglebutt and greets you at the door with her whole body shaking and smiling!

She is learning to love zoomies and playing with squeaker toys.

She loves hanging out in the yard enjoying the grass and laying on the driveway, but she is just as happy in the house right next to you.

She loves car rides and Kong toys stuffed with peanut butter.

She was friendly and well behaved at the vet, even with the usual poking and prodding.
